How to manage translation language lines?
What are translation language lines?
Translation language lines, are short, generic pieces of text that Unify will use for the login screen. Prior to having a tenant we will ask you to translate a file, this same file will be initially used for the translations.
Why should you need to change the translations?
All the translations keys are relatively vague, resulting sometimes in mistakes when translating. Unify offers it's customers the possibility to change the translations after launch.
How do you change translation language lines?
Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to change language lines.
- First navigate to the Identity Platform.
- On the left-hand side, click on `Language Lines`, in the `Other` section
- Search for the translation you would like to change
NOTE: You cannot search on the translated text itself but only the `group` and `key`.
Once you have found the translation you are looking for press the eye icon on the right-hand side to open it.
You can then press the blue pen icon in the top right to change the text.
NOTE: To ensure the Identity Platform login is properly performant, it might take a little time for the translation to be updated within the login screen.
