How to setup and configure profession mappings?
The setup of profession mapping usually follows depending on the use of IQVIA extension, because if you want to use the IQVIA extension we'll need to fetch all the profession types and profession specialties that are considered country-specific.
We can provide a file with instructions for you to fill in on how and what users you want to allow access to your platform. If you're not using the IQVIA extension, we'll also provide a file with instructions, but without any of the profession types and profession specialties, and we'll need to discuss to understand how you want to correctly identify your userbase.
Later on setup a call to discuss and get to an agreement that all data is correct. We'll then plan to create the profession types and profession specialties directly onto the platform as soon as possible.
Note If you are using the IQVIA extension that every country has different set of profession types and profession specialties, so no country is the same and we cannot copy-paste this from others.
What are access levels?
By default we have access level 0, access level 1 and access level 2.
The use of access levels allow for generalization of certain type of users, for example in the healthcare and pharma industries you are able to use the access levels as following:
- Access level 2 = Branded content, Prescribers, Physicians, Pharmacists
- Access level 1 = Non-branded content, Nurses, Assistants
- Access level 0 = Administrative, Others
Can you add more access levels?
Yes, but be careful that you don't overcomplicate your system and it's highly preferred to know this beforehand because otherwise you could have an existing userbase without the correct access levels.
Can you disable access levels and just continue when user has account?
Yes, for certain customers of our Unify platform we've disabled the use of access levels so that you are able to just have verified accounts to gain access to private areas of your online products.
